Methodology

Pins are curated from public annual reports, employer careers pages, and industry summaries. Major groups (e.g. BAE, JLR, GSK) list **multiple UK manufacturing or engineering sites** where these are commonly named in public sources — not every office or warehouse. Revenue notes are usually **group or segment** figures, not single-site turnover. Hyper-fragmented networks (e.g. many small food sites) may still be sampled. Verify ownership and activity before relying on this map. For authoritative registers use Companies House, ONS, or commercial datasets.
